Friday, 01 August 2008 20:28
On Friday 01.08 and Saturday 02.08.2008 in the very heart of Čakovec – Zrinski park in front of the old castle, on the most visited traditional Čakovec fair „Porcijunkulovo“ where craftsmen and associations that help preserve old crafts present themselves, Ecological organization Lipa (EOL) presented the project „Miller path“.

On 50 square meters of exhibiting space, together with EOL all project partners from Croatia and Slovenia have presented themselves either personally or with brochures, pamphlets and posters, and craftsmen that have already participated in this project and some contributed greatly to implementation of the project, before all mr. Stanko Trstenjak from Marof that has helped us with ethnographic research, presentation on the first fair “Na to mlado leto”, as well as “Miller days”, and Dragutin Rašperger with his large handmade model of the mill that attracted visitors attention.

We also used this opportunity to present one info-board that was made by carpenter Đuro Bogdan in cooperation with EOL, on which newly made map is printed of the Miller path – crossborder tourist zone, with significant and interesting places to visit in part of Međimurje and Pomurje covered by project. This info-board will be set after the presentation in its place – in Čestijanec, beside the benches and tables near the entrance point of the river Mura in Croatia.
